This Banana Hemp Protein Smoothie is my go-to post workout treat that features frozen bananas, almond milk, peanut butter, and hemp protein powder.Last month as part of the awesome Choctoberfest celebration, I got my hands on some goodies from the folks at Just Hemp Foods.
Hemp milk is a delicious dairy-free, nut-free, plant-based milk. It’s naturally light, nutty in flavor, and only requires two ingredients. Just hemp seeds and water! But feel free to add a little sweetener and vanilla extract for a tasty and fresh milk that’s ready to drink!
Now, this smoothie is a bit odd: it’s full of turmeric. Remember when I made caramelized mushrooms in turmeric broth? I did a little convincing to ensure you guys it was safe/amazing to eat, and hopefully you gave it a go and decided it was worth it.
